Baby Charlotte

I stole these pictures from Tiersha's blog because they're just so cute!  I'm so glad I was able to see baby Charlotte and Tiersha (& Josh for a little bit) while I've been here in UT.  I feel like I need to see that babe every month to make sure she doesn't forget me ;)

Charlotte's such a good baby.  She seriously almost never cries, but it is pretty difficult to get a smile out of her.  We still love her though :)

Last Post, I Promise

This is the last of many (and I mean many!) posts from our trip back east over Spring Break.  These pictures are from an indoor market in Lancaster (I'm not really sure if that's right...) and a walk we took to Tanner's med school (through the forest right by their house).

Chocolate World

A benefit of visiting PA...visiting Chocolate World!

Pennsylvania

The biggest reason we went back east was to be with family.  We hadn't seen Lisa & Shawn in a while, and it had been even longer since we had seen Tanner & Allie (9 months!).  T&A moved to PA when we moved to AZ, and we were anxious to see where they lived since there's not a whole of exciting places to go in AZ (at least not like the historical sites back east).  We had such a great time traveling through different states, but we had just as much fun being in their apartment just hanging out.  While we were in PA, we did a number of things.  I'll let the pictures do the talking...
1 & 2. Tyler wanted to see my hair in 2 buns instead of 1 (which is what I do a LOT of the time), and this was the result
The rest of the pictures: these were from the Harrisburg capitol, which has been voted the #1 capitol for architecture...it was seriously beautiful everywhere. And the last picture is of the Susquehanna river.

This is how we were welcomed in to the capitol building (they were awesome)

Palmyra Part 3

The last thing we did while in Palmyra was go to the Palmyra temple.  After the temple, we rushed to the hotel to check out on time, and made our way to the Susquehanna river, where Joseph Smith was baptized, and where he received the priesthood.
1. in the car...this is what some of our days consisted of (the boys were obviously a little bit more excited to be in the car then we were)
2 & 3. Palmyra Temple
4. 10 minute drill to get out of the hotel
5-14. Susquehanna River
15. the grave of Joseph & Emma's first born
16. Shawn driving...he was such a trooper and drove the whole trip
17. at Walmart...we stopped at a different Walmart almost every day of the trip (this time was for ice cream, I think)
