Totally Making These

It seems like almost everybody has made a version of apothecary jars, and now it's my turn.  I'm not real big into Halloween, which means I don't like to spend a lot of money on decorations, costumes, etc.  Sooo, this project is perfect for me, AND I can use it for other holidays too (just switch out the candy & ribbon).  I need as many DIY holiday projects as I can get.  I love decorations, but they're just so darn expensive!

A Belated Anniversary

For our anniversary, I was in CA while Tyler was in AZ.  Yes, exactly how anyone would want to spend their anniversary...NOT.  It was fine though, and we're going to make it up by celebrating this weekend (Labor Day).  Anyway, I can't believe it's been 3 years.  When people say time flies, they are not kidding.  I don't even know where the time has gone.  It's been an incredible journey, and I'm so happy that we're here in dental school together...even though Tyler's doing all the school work ;)  Happy anniversary babe!

Family Pictures

Just in case we hadn't squeezed enough into this past week, we scheduled family pictures at the beach on Saturday.  I don't have the pictures yet, but Tyler took some pics with our camera while we were there.  I'm excited to see the finished results from Rona though!

Letting the balloons go

Have 4 kids under the age of 7 makes sharing things a little difficult.  Sooo, during the twins' nap, my mom asked us to pop the balloons from the baby shower so the kids wouldn't fight over who got them.  We decided to have a little fun with it, and let Gracee in on it :)

Tiersha's Baby Shower

While I was home, my mom and I threw Tiersha her baby shower.  It was such a success, and was really fun to put together.  A lot of good friends and family showed up, and I think Tiersha got pretty much everything she needs for "baby," and maybe some more.
We were all a little obsessed with Desiree's twins...especially Lillee
We served doughnut holes, bagels, fruit, and oreo bites (from a previous post)

The big chair

We stopped at Big 5 tonight and found this enormous chair!  Naturally, we all had to take a picture in it.

I seriously felt like a little kid in this chair
