Another Trip to CA

I was lucky enough to travel home this past week.  I was only there 5 days, but I was able to see a TON of people, and do a lot of fun things.  My 2 main purposes in travelling home last week was my Aunt Paige's sealing, and to see some family friends from Oklahoma.  Some of the other fun things I did included:

  • Lunch with some of the girl cousins
  • Date with Baby Charlotte while Tiersha had a doctor appt
  • Lunch with Robyn
  • Shopping
  • Hanging out at my parents' house
  • Annie's volleyball game (a little frustrating to watch b/c her coach looks & acts like he's 5)
  • Visited with the Pitts at their hotel near Disneyland
  • Balboa Island with Melissa, Ryan, Brady, Rick, & Arlene
  • Balboa Bar...YUM!
  • Cafe Rio
  • Running into Alan & Jamie at the mall
  • Sealing/luncheon for Paige & Darren
  • Frozen yogurt with my friend, Chris
  • Church/Beach/Dinner with the Pitts
  • A stop at the Palm Springs outlets on my way home :)

FHE & Meatball Subs

I love having FHE at our house b/c I get to try recipes that make HUGE servings that Tyler and I would never finish by ourselves.  Tonight for FHE dinner I made meatball subs that I found on pinterest, and they were a big hit!  And, they were super easy!  Here's some pics of the food, and our guests :)

Potluck

Last night we had a potluck with some of the guys (& wives & kids) from Tyler's class.  There were tons of kids, which made for a not-so-long get together, but it was still really fun, and it was nice to get to know some of the people Tyler spends most of his days with.
The spread!
Such a happy baby!

Chipotle

Last weekend during the Priesthood session of conference, some girl friends and I hung out and did some shopping.  We were going to do dinner without the boys, but since the session is at 5 instead of 6 (UT time) we decided to wait until the boys were finished.  It was really fun to do some shopping, and we ended the night with Chipotle, one of my favorite places.  I always get a chicken burrito when I go to Chipotle, but this time they put a ton of HOT stuff in my burrito (which Ty likes), and made Tyler's totally mild, which I like, so I got to try the barbecoa, and wow, it was really good.  Anyway, lame post, but I took some pics, so I thought I'd share.
