Shawn & Lisa's visit to AZ

As soon as I got back from NYC, Tyler's mom & Shawn came to AZ to visit!  It was so nice to have visitors, and they came right in time...just before the heat got too bad (it was still close to 100 degrees while they were here).  While they were here, we went to the pool, got Bahama Bucks, saw Captain America at Studio Movie Grill, went to a class at the gym (Lisa & me), went to Jaimie's baby shower, ate Burrito Express, took naps, golfed, ate Joe's BBQ, went to church, saw the Gilbert & Mesa temples, and just hung out.  It was a good weekend!

NYC with Mom, Dad, & Annie Part 4 (last one, I promise..)

Our last day in NYC was Thursday.  We started off with baptisms at the Manhattan temple.  I had been to the temple before, but not ever inside, and wow, it was cool.  You can't hear anything on the streets while you're inside.  After the temple, we went back to the hotel, took a nap, and bought some souvenirs.  We then met up with Dad, got lunch at Ray's pizza, and Dad & I went for a bike ride through Central Park, since he missed the first time.  Right before we left for the airport, Annie & I ran over to Shake Shack to grab a shake (we had to get one, since we were right there!).  All in all, it was such a great trip, and it was nice to spend time with family.  Hopefully it's not too long before I get back to NYC :)

NYC with Mom, Dad, & Annie Part 3

On Wednesday, it rained most of the day, but we tried to make the best of it.  We started by going to Stardust Cafe for lunch.  That place was super cool.  All of the waiters at the restaurant were aspiring actors/actresses, and they snag the whole time they were waiting on us.  After lunch, we headed to Gap (always a must), and then were on our way to Lion King.  Awesome, awesome, awesome!  For dinner, we went to a place called Hurley's Pub.  It was right around the corner from our hotel (which, did I mention that we stayed in Times Square?!?).  That night, Mom & Dad went to see Rocky on Broadway, while Annie and I did some shopping, got some cheesecake from Juniors, and hung out at the hotel.

NYC with Mom, Dad, and Annie Part 2

On Tuesday, we started the day off with a bike ride through Central Park.  It was a little bit chilly, but this ended up being one of my most favorite things we did while in NYC.  After biking, we had lunch at Guys Burger, which was right across from the Body World's Exhibit, which was our next stop.  That night, Dad had a work dinner, so the 3 girls went to see Newsies... The show was absolutely phenomenal, and the cast was great.
