Mutual Activities

Last month we had a few great mutual activities.  The first was a game night with just the laurels, and we played the "Skittles" game, where you draw a card and put that many skittles in your mouth.  You go until there's one person left.  I think Courtney won this time with 90 or so skittles in her mouth.  Pretty incredible.

The second activity was a slip-n-slide.  It was the best one I've seen...by far.  The Beecrofts even brought their water truck to help make it more slippery.  And, even the leaders got in on the fun.

Weekend Away

We've been busy around this here lately.  If you haven't heard, I got a job teaching 5th grade here in AZ, and really have loved it so far.  We started school last Wednesday (SUPER early), and after the first day, I actually wanted to go back.  I have an awesome class, and, so far, have a lot of participation :)  Anyway, a couple weekends ago, our friends Brad & Courtney invited us to their cabin for a weekend away, and it was just what we needed.  We had a blast.

Utah Connect Pass

Tyler's mom bought the "Utah Connect Pass" for all of us to use while in UT.  It's a pass that allows you to get in to several UT sites during a 2 day period.  We hit up as many sites as we could (before getting too tired) in those 2 days, and had a great time.  It was a great way to see a lot of UT sites in a short period of time, and for a good price.
#1-3. Thanksgiving Point Gardens
#4. Park City Olympic Park
#5-7. The Leonardo Exhibit
#8. Our "studio" hotel room (it was tiny, but we managed to fit 3 beds!)
#9 & 10. Hogle Zoo
#11 & 12. The Natural History Museum
#13 & 14. Red Butte Gardens
#15. Lion House Pantry (a meal was include with the pass)

More of UT and Pioneer Day

#1. Riley & Me
#2. @ Sonic getting half off shakes
#3-9. Tyler and I took Lisa and Cynthia on the razor from Alpine to Midway (the morning of Pioneer day)
#10. Watching "Cul de sac of Fire" on Pioneer Day
