I've said it before, and I'll say it again...we see a lot of movies, living here in Mesa. Sometimes it's just too hot to do anything else, and the other times we have groupons to a fabulous movie theater in Scottsdale ($5 for ticket and drink in comfty chairs!). Lately, we've seen pretty much every movie under the moon (at least that's what it feels like). Of these movies, I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed ALL of them. The only one that I probably wouldn't see again is Oz, and that's only because it was a little weird. All of the rest, were great. Pitch Perfect & Great Gatsby are definitely on the top of my list :) Oh, and Silver Linings was pretty fabulous too.

Memorial Day Weekend
This weekend was a very relaxing, and enjoyable one. We started off Friday by going up to the outlets for a little bit of shopping, followed by tennis that afternoon. Saturday, we got up early and went to the driving range. After the range, we headed up to Phoenix and visited the memorial sites, and went to the Dbacks game, which was really fun. We got a hotel for the night, and then went on a short hike the next morning (Squaw Peak). We finished by enjoying some time at home on Monday (Tyler doing some school stuff, and me doing some cleaning), and then playing tennis with Dave & Mal (and Bahama Bucks after), which was a blast. All in all, it was just what we needed for Tyler's last day off before heavy studying for boards :)

Happy Mother's Day!
Weekending
This weekend we did a few things (already documented Friday night) worth noting. Yesterday, Tyler studied for a good portion of the day, while I did P90x & cleaned our apartment. Then, we both headed to the pool, and surprisingly lasted about 2 hours despite the almost 100 degree weather. After that, we did what we've done every Saturday for a while, played tennis! All I have to say is thank goodness the courts are in the shade after 3:30 isn, because it would most certainly be too hot to play if it wasn't shaded. After tennis, we went to dinner at Charleston's with Chris & Emily, and were not disappointed. Awesome food for a decent price. We then headed over to Golfland, and rode the go-carts, and sweated like crazy because the go-carts were pretty warm. And, of course, Flat Stanley joined us on all of our adventures (except tennis...darn it!). He even snagged a picture with me today on our way to church.
