CA Baby Shower

Tiersha threw me an amazing shower while we were in CA. It was exactly what I wanted, nice and simple.

I got a picture with Charlotte, but not with my mom, or any of my sisters darn it!

At one of my laurel's (Natalie) basketball games
The first week in February I had the chance to go to CA for my cousin, Skylar's wedding, as well as have a baby shower thrown by Tiersha (she did an amazing job). It was a really great weekend, and I was able to see a lot of good friends and family.

Tiersha & I treated ourselves to Islands (chicken tenders & cheese fries!)
Visiting the VonZups. Charlotte loved playing with Rick.
Charlotte jumping on the mini trampoline {naked}. Cindy LeSueur was nice enough to let us stay at her house the whole time we were in town.

Up next, my CA baby shower :)

January Happenings

Temple night at 23 weeks
Service activity (washing windows at a local school)
Hiking South Mountain for Mutual (with the only laurel that made it to the top!)
25 weeks!

My dad came down at the end of January for the Phoenix Open, and, lucky for us, he had an extra 3 tickets for Tyler, Tom, and me :) We first made our way to the 16th hole to experience the craziness there, and then found the corporate tent. We thought of walking around later in the day, but once we got to the tent we didn't want to leave. We had seats right by the railing, and ate good food and drinks for a good 5 hours or so. It was amazing.

Waiting in line at the 16th

Tiger at the 18th

Hanging out at home, in the clothes I'm usually in these days ;)
Seeing that the Super Bowl was in Arizona this year, we felt we had to take part in some of the festivities, so we headed down to downtown Phoenix (via the metro...a first time for Tyler and me), with Brad & Court. It was crazy down there...so many people, but there really wasn't a whole lot to do. It was just fun to say we were there. We were able to get some free pizza (although, Tyler tried the bacon cheeseburger pizza, and it was practically melting in his hand), and some free chips and dip.

We did a football throwing contest (with a miniature football), and the girls are the ones who ended up winning! We got free Super Bowl water bottles as our prize :)
Playing the pig game, and the boys being weird.

Tanner's Visit to AZ

After our Utah trip, Tanner drove home with us to AZ. It made for a fun ride, and I didn't feel bad about not staying awake the entire time ;). We tried to show him a good time for the one day that he was here.
Playing a little tennis
