Valentine's Day at school

Apparently Valentine's Day is a huge deal at Canyon Crest, and the kids go ALL out.  The kids build Valentine boxes (which store all of the Valentines they get), and some of them went crazy.  Here's some pics of my students' boxes, as well as the whiteboards, which Tyler and my kids covered with love notes...

Happy Love Day!

I came to school (well, really work) and found these on my desk... as well as some love notes on the whiteboards.  My students LOVED it.  They even added their own love notes to me.  I have a great husband, even my students think so :)

Phone Pics

I came across some pictures on my phone that I had completely forgotten about.  They are all from Christmas break.  That break went WAY too fast.  I want to go back!
Took the babes on a walk
Ty and I went to Las Brisas in Laguna Beach one Saturday morning, and hung out on the beach for a while afterward.

Tyler at breakfast.  The food was DELICIOUS.
We went to Cirque de Solei at the Kodak Theater.  The tickets were a surprise from my parents for Christmas.  Sorry for the blurriness... it was really dark in the theater.

This is my favorite picture... Tyler helped Gracee assemble the dollhouse she got for Christmas.  He's going to be a great dad one day :)

Moneyball

This movie was even better than I thought it would be.  I highly recommend it!

Shawn's Birthday

Last Thursday was Shawn's (Tyler's step-dad) birthday.  To celebrate, we went to Tanner's basketball game up at Westminster, where they won by 1 point in overtime, and then we had a little birthday celebration at Tanner & Allie's afterward.  It included chocolate cake & vanilla ice cream (both courtesy of Costco), and some great company.  It's always great to be with family, which seems to be rare these days even though we live so close.  Goal for the next few months of living in Utah (before we move): hang out with family MORE!
Even Grandma & Grandpa Tanner were there to celebrate!
Apparently I was the only one tall enough to get an "eye" in one of the letters...
